Pocos asturianos saben que en un momento no tan lejano de nuestra historia, Gij\u00f3n fu\u00e9 la capital y Asturias Declar\u00f3 la Soberan\u00eda.Voy a acercarme a ello y a trasmitir completa la DECLARACI\u00d3N DE SOBERAN\u00cdA.<\/p>\n
En la Segunda Rep\u00fablica hubieron tres elecciones.La primera en 1931, la gan\u00f3 la izquierda; las segundas en 1933 las gan\u00f3 la derecha y en 1936 las ganaron las izquierdas.En Asturias en 1936, el Frente Popular obtuvo el 52.8 % y la Coalici\u00f3n del Centro Derecha el 46.7.El Frente Popular gan\u00f3 las principales ciudades, incluyendo a Oviedo.<\/p>\n
Cuando el 18 de julio de 19336 se produjo el Levantamiento contra las Institucciones encabezadas por FRanco, el pueblo asturiano crea Comit\u00e9s de Defensa a lo largo de toda Asturias, destcando el Comit\u00e9 de Defensa de Gij\u00f3n y el Comit\u00e9 de Defensa de Sama de Langreo.Se unen los dos en Gij\u00f3n y queda establecida en esta ciudad, la Defensa de toda Asturias.Nombran Presidente todos slos partidos del Frente Popular a Belarmino Tom\u00e1s Vega.En diciembre del 36 el Gobierno de la Rep\u00fablica, crea los Consejos Provinciales o Interprovinciales en toda Espa\u00f1a como estructuras de Gobierno y surge el Consejo Interprovincial de Asturias y Le\u00f3n.Se vuelve a elegir como Presidente del Consejo a Belarmino Tom\u00e1s.<\/p>\n

Durante todo ese proceso hasta octubre del 37, el gobierno de Asturias, sus 52 edictos, y la creaci\u00f3n de las fortificaciones de defensa tan destacadas por el jefe de la Legi\u00f3n Condor Adolf Galland(en sus memorias) que las considera superiores a las de Bilbao.<\/p>\n
Asturias, aislada( Galicia se hab\u00eda levantado, Santander Queipo la tir\u00f3,como dijo, de un telefonazo, El Partido Nacionalista Vasco pacta en Santo\u00f1a con MUssolini, )y de golpe la defensa de todo el Frente Norte, a donde se unen los vascos que resistieron, queda bajo la responsabilidad de Asturias. A cientos de kil\u00f3metros, totalmente aislados bajo el bombardeo de la Legi\u00f3n Condor, del “chulo” del Cant\u00e1brico(como lo llamaba el pueblo) el acorazado Cervera y rodeada de tropas contra la Rep\u00fablica, el 26 de agosto de 1937, El Consejo emite el siguiente Decreto:<\/p>\n
